The comedy centers around the everyday trials, tribulations and triumphs of a busy family of six, including what happens when Charlie turns 2, begins potty training, and inadvertently causes a power outage, unplugging the online chatting and gaming plans of her siblings, Teddy, PJ and Gabe (which could prove harmful to the teens’ wellbeing!). Starring are Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Leigh-Allyn Baker, Bradley Steven Perry, Mia Talerico and Eric Allan Kramer. Among the recurring cast is Raven Goodwin, Shane Harper and Daniel Curtis Lee (Disney XD’s “Zeke and Luther”).

Season Two also includes the first-ever crossover episode for “Good Luck Charlie,” a storyline featuring the cast of Disney Channel’s newest hit comedy series “Shake It Up.”

In March, the “Good Luck Charlie” cast will begin production on the untitled holiday-themed Disney Channel Original Movie based on the series. It is scheduled to premiere in winter 2011. Written by Geoff Rodkey (“R.V.,” “Daddy Day Care”) and directed by Emmy-nominee Arlene Sanford (“Ally McBeal,” “Boston Legal”), the storyline finds the Duncans heading for Christmas in Palm Springs, but en route, Teddy makes a snap decision that separates the family. With just three days to go and no flights available, Teddy must pull out all the stops, including a camper, car, bus and a bike, to make a Duncan family Christmas.

“Good Luck Charlie” was created by Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen (“Suddenly Susan” and “What I Like About You”) and is executive-produced by Baker, Vaupen and Dan Staley (“Cheers,” “Love & Money”). The trio are also executive producers of the Disney Channel Original Movie based on the series. “Good Luck Charlie” is a production of It’s A Laugh Productions, Inc. Previously announced as premiering at the end of March, Disney Channel’s newest DCOM, Lemonade Mouth, has been pushed back to April 15.

The movie, which stars Bridgit Mendler, Adam Hicks, Hayley Kiyoko, Blake Michael and Naomi Scott, tells the story of how a powerhouse band came to be after five uncelebrated students with a passion for music find each other and ultimately become the voice of their generation.

In addition, the soundtrack which features a few songs written by Adam, will be released on April 12th.

“Lemonade Mouth” introduces an unlikely ensemble of five students – Olivia, Wen, Stella, Mohini and Charlie – who, after meeting in detention, gradually realize their shared musical connection and belief that it’s time for the students of Mesa High to stand up and be heard on things big and small (ranging from the school principal’s exclusive support of the athletic programs to the removal of the popular organic lemonade from the cafeteria). Ultimately, as they open up to each other and form friendships, they start a band — Lemonade Mouth –that soon resonates with students sidelined by the high school elite. However, not everyone in the school is ready to cheer them on, especially since the popular rock group Mudslide Crush is determined to maintain their headline status and win the coveted Rising Star music competition at Mesa High.

The organization books to children in need. The winner will get to meet Bridgit and present the check to her (and they get $500 for themselves as well…a nice holiday treat!).

In her upcoming take over, Bridgit chatted with host Ernie D about some of her holiday traditions: “Every holiday season on Christmas Eve, my dad would read ‘The Night Before Christmas’…we still do it every year.”

She added, “We like to celebrate at home a lot of the time where it’s just me and my family, but then there’s some years that we travel…This year actually, we’re going to Argentina, big trip!”

DisneyChannel.com will present a “creature creator” application that invites users to upload and morph their own photo into the assorted otherworldly characters seen in the episode — a wizard, vampire, werewolf or mummy — and share this Creature Creator activity with friends. The application is currently available on DisneyChannel.com/Wizards.

“Wizards vs. Werewolves” will be available for a special preview beginning January 15 on Disney Channel on Demand through a variety of affiliates, including Cablevision, RCN, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS. The episode will also be available on DisneyChannel.com immediately following its network premiere on January 22, and beginning January 23 will be available on Disney Channel Mobile on Demand, iTunes and Xbox Live.
